The Purposes of Lake County Retired Teachers Association are:
To promote the professional, social and economic status of retired educators and their dependents.
To afford an opportunity for the interchange of ideas on subjects of interest to retired educators.
To furnish a practical basis for united action among those devoted to the welfare of retired educators and their dependents.
To work in cooperation with other organized groups in matters pertaining to the improvement of education and other matters of interest to retired educators.
